«Kosmos - Space Fantasy» is Tomita's album, released by RCA on CD.
Isao Tomita reinterprets works from the classical tradition with synthesizers, wrapping them in a cosmic, surreal atmosphere. The result is an electronic journey evoking space landscapes, symphonic textures and a hint of movie score, far removed from conventional academic versions.
The European CD reissue of Tomita, released by RCA, falls within the modern classical and soundtrack styles.
Aimed at those seeking an unconventional fusion of classical and electronic music, and at those interested in experimentation with synthesizers.
