«Snowflakes Are Dancing» is the electronic music album by Isao Tomita, released in 1991 by RCA Victor on CD.
Tomita recreates works by Claude Debussy with synthesizers and turns the French composer's classical pieces into electronic and ambient soundscapes. The result, one of the records that helped popularize electronic music, combines melodies from the classical repertoire with synthesizer-generated textures and sound effects.
1991 remastered CD edition, with Dolby Surround sound and a single disc; the original album was released in 1974.
Suitable for fans of ambient electronic music and synthesized versions of the classical repertoire.
