A compilation bringing together a selection of representative songs by Georges Brassens, including the title track. His witty lyrics blend humor, irony and social critique with a melancholic undertone, in the characteristic style of chanson française, making this work a fine sample of his output.

A good gateway into Georges Brassens's work for new listeners, and a reference title for fans of chanson française.
