«Mahler íntimo» is the classical music album by Gustav Mahler performed by the RTVE Symphony Orchestra, released in 1995 by RTVE on CD.
The disc brings together a selection of slow movements from Gustav Mahler's symphonies, performed by the RTVE Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Sergiu Comissiona. These are pieces of a calm and expressive character, close to the composer's neo-Romantic world, showing his lyrical and dramatic vein without the more thunderous passages of his symphonies.
Spanish edition on a single CD, reference 65053 from the RTVE label; neo-Romantic musical style.
For classical music fans and for those wanting a first approach to Mahler's symphonies through their slow movements.
