«Mr. Beast» is the post-rock album by Scottish band Mogwai, released in 2006 on Pias America, on CD.
«Mr. Beast» is a record of contrasts between calm and forcefulness, in which guitars drive most of the tracks. It alternates restrained passages with moments of greater intensity and noise; highlights include «Friend of the Night», «Travel Is Dangerous» and «Glasgow Mega-Snake».
European edition with catalog number PIASX062CD. Includes a collaboration by Tetsuya Fukagawa, of the Japanese hardcore group Envy.
For post-rock fans and Mogwai followers: an album that shows the band's sound in the mid-2000s.
