«Neptune» is the album by Marvin Ayres, released in 2001 on the Parade Amoureuse label on CD.
The album fuses electronic, rock, new age and trip-hop, with an atmosphere close to ambient. Synthetic layers and restrained rhythms create a contemplative soundscape that evokes the cover: seas and skies in purple tones before a dark coast.
The CD contains one disc and corresponds to reference PHOE 023 CD; it is an edition imported from Germany.
For listeners of ambient and experimental electronic music who appreciate imported CD editions from the early 2000s.
