«Newborn» is the debut album by Boy in Static, released in 2004 on Alien Transistor on CD.
Newborn brings together ten tracks recorded at home with acoustic guitar, electronics, string sequences and computer arrangements. Its experimental pop moves between rock, folk and electronics, with wide atmospheres and intimate details. 'Warm Blooded', 'Kissed Under The Sun' and 'Truly Yours' are three representative cuts.
Boy in Static is the solo project of Alexander Chen, a musician from Boston.
For listeners of experimental rock, ambient and atmospheric electronics, with a taste for acoustic arrangements and home production.
