«On the Moon» is the folk album by NoCrows, released in 2010 by Crow Records on CD.
NoCrows develops in On the Moon a folk rooted in tradition with contemporary arrangements and careful instrumentation, creating an evocative atmosphere. The album cover, a surreal illustration with human and animal faces such as an owl around a moon against a starry background, reinforces that visual and sonic universe.
The CD edition, from Ireland, was released on November 23, 2010 through Crow Records and Whirling Discs (WHRL 0015) and includes a single disc in English.
On the Moon is a folk album for listeners who value careful instrumentation, with a surreal cover that completes the proposal.
