«Peter Cincotti» is the debut album by American jazz pianist and singer Peter Cincotti, released in 2003 by Concord Records on CD.
The album combines the pianist's originals with covers of jazz and pop classics. Tracks include «Comes Love», «Spinning Wheel» and «I Changed the Rules», plus a medley of «The Fool on the Hill/Nature Boy»; the whole moves in a vocal jazz register.
The three originals have lyrics by Cincotti's mother. Produced by Phil Ramone; the quartet consists of David Finck on bass, Kenny Washington on drums and Scott Kreitzer on tenor sax.
For fans of vocal jazz and swing piano, and for those seeking jazzy versions of popular songs.
