«Over Easy» is the rock album by Australian band The Cruel Sea, released in 1998 by Polydor on CD.
The record moves between rock and pop with blues and jazz influences, and The Cruel Sea resolves it with a band sound that alternates energetic moments and more subdued passages. The whole maintains a melodic and accessible line, close to Australian pop rock of the nineties.
The album reached number one on the ARIA albums chart in Australia and was certified platinum by ARIA in 1999.
For fans of Australian rock from the nineties and bands that combine blues, rock and pop in one album.
