«Parsifal Goes La Habana» is the album by Ben Lierhouse Project, released by Nuevos Medios on CD.
Ben Lierhouse Project moves the universe of Wagner's Parsifal to Havana: the album combines elements of classical music with Afro-Cuban rhythms and passages of Latin jazz. The cover, with two facing profiles and the motto 'Welcome to Cuba', reinforces that dialogue between Europe and Cuba.
The European edition is a single-disc digipak CD, with catalogue code NCW-W-C002; the sleeve includes the indication Edition: New Wagner.
For listeners interested in fusions of classical music and Latin rhythms, and in Wagnerian reinterpretations far from the conventional.
