«Peaceful Times» is the acoustic album by Scottish punk rock band The Skids, released in 2019 on the No Bad label on CD.
The album includes ten tracks in which The Skids reinterpret some of their best-known songs, such as «Into the Valley» and «The Saints Are Coming», in an acoustic style, alongside new material. The result brings the band's punk repertoire to a more serene and stripped-down register, offering a new reading of their songs.
This CD, The Skids' first acoustic work, follows «Burning Cities» (2018), an album that marked their first original material since 1981.
For fans of The Skids and British punk rock who want to rediscover the group's classics in acoustic versions.
