«Primary Colours» is the album by British band The Horrors, released in 2009 on XL Recordings, on CD.
The album marks a shift towards electronic and psychedelic rock with Krautrock influences, moving away from the rawer sound of their beginnings. Tracks like «Mirror's Image», «New Ice Age» and «Sea Within a Sea» combine synthesizers, guitars and a dark, enveloping atmosphere.
The album was produced by Craig Silvey, Geoff Barrow and The Horrors; «Three Decades» and «Primary Colours» feature production by Chris Cunningham. The CD includes ten songs.
For fans of alternative and indie rock interested in The Horrors' evolution towards a more electronic and psychedelic sound.
