«Prokofiev: Sym Nos 1 & 7» is the Prokofiev compilation with the London Symphony Orchestra and André Previn, released in 1999 by EMI Classics on CD.
The CD brings together three orchestral works by Prokofiev: Symphony No. 1 «Classical», Symphony No. 7 and the suite from «Lieutenant Kijé», performed by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by André Previn. The First is neoclassical in inspiration and the Seventh presents a more modern language, in a recording that combines both traits of the composer.
