«Six Concertos for Two Organs» is the album by Spanish composer Antonio Soler, released in 2008 by Brilliant Classics on CD.
The program brings together six Baroque concertos for two organs by Antonio Soler, with slow movements and dances such as the minuet. The writing alternates dialogue between the two instruments with virtuoso passages typical of the Spanish Baroque. Maurizio Croci and Pieter van Dijk are the organists; the Concerto in C major and the Concerto in D major stand out.
Recorded on 28-30 November 2007 at the church of San Giacomo del Carmine (Imola). Brilliant Classics edition, reference 93763; total duration, 71'18.
For listeners interested in Baroque music and the organ as a chamber instrument.
