«Sofera» is the album by Rajery, released in 2007 on the Marabi label, on CD.
The album features Rajery with the valiha, Madagascar's emblematic instrument, in a folk music repertoire drawing on various Malagasy traditions: highland melodies, salegy rhythms from the coast, and vocal polyphonies from the south. It includes tracks such as «Sofera», «Tandremo» and «Salama».
CD edition of 1 disc, catalogue number HM 83 46820.2; the back cover includes texts in French and English.
For fans of world music and traditional Malagasy music; combines the valiha with Western instruments in a festive tone.
