«Something Cool» is Tierney Sutton's vocal jazz album, released in 2002 by Telarc on CD.
A vocal jazz album in which Tierney Sutton moves between cool jazz and swing with an intimate, stripped-down reading. Her voice, supported by a sober band, leads versions with a serene atmosphere and elegant phrasing, without stridency. The ensemble maintains a relaxed mood close to the vocal tradition of classic jazz.
The CD edition, with one disc and reference CD-83548, was released on September 24, 2002.
Recommended for fans of vocal jazz and cool jazz who appreciate elegant versions of standards.
