«Sonando a Cuba» is the debut album by Cuban group Eleyo, released in 2001 on the Unicornio Producciones Abdala label on CD.
Eleyo's debut album fuses urban rhythms with Cuban music: hip-hop and island sounds coexist in songs sung in Spanish. The cover reinforces this spirit with four musicians dressed in white before a rural Cuban landscape.
Single-disc edition, published in Cuba. Catalogue number UN-CD9017; the barcode features Tecnodisco S.A.
Aimed at listeners of Spanish-language rap and Cuban sounds from the early 2000s.
