«Stille Nacht Heilige Nacht» is a compilation of Christmas carols by various artists, released in 2002 by Delta as a double CD.
The album brings together German Christmas carols and popular songs performed by choirs and instrumental ensembles, with organ, trumpet, piano and brass accompaniment. The repertoire combines classics such as «Stille Nacht», «Kling Glöckchen kling» and «O du fröhliche» with lesser-known traditional pieces, in choral and instrumental recordings.
In total there are 36 tracks. Performers include the Kinderchor St. Anna, the Bozner Domchor and the Meraner Bläserensemble, with Pierre Dubos (trumpet) and Eduard Staginsky (piano).
For listeners of traditional Christmas music who appreciate choral and instrumental arrangements with organ and trumpet.
