«Telemann: 12 Fantasias for Flute» is the baroque music album by Jed Wentz, released in 2007 by Brilliant Classics on CD.
The twelve fantasias Telemann composed for solo flute form a cycle of the baroque repertoire, and Jed Wentz performs them here on a traverso. These are short pieces of varied character, without accompaniment, in which the melodic line shows the composer's inventiveness and the expressive resources of the 18th-century flute.
Dutch edition on a single CD, with catalogue reference 93440 and digital recording (DDD).
For fans of baroque music and the traverso, and for those seeking performances on period instruments.
