«The Fabulous Baker Boys: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack» is the film score composed by Dave Grusin, released in 1989 by GRP Records, on CD.
Soundtrack of the movie starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Jeff Bridges and Beau Bridges. Dave Grusin's jazz blends instrumental pieces and classic covers: «Makin' Whoopee» and «My Funny Valentine» with Pfeiffer's vocals, and «Moonglow» by the Benny Goodman Quartet. It creates an elegant, melancholic atmosphere between swing and contemporary jazz.
The CD includes eleven tracks and bears catalogue number GRD-2002.
For fans of contemporary jazz, swing and film soundtracks.
