«Le Quattro Stagioni (The Four Seasons)» is the compilation by Antonio Vivaldi with I Musici and Roberto Michelucci, released in 1987 by Philips on CD.
The four violin concertos that make up «Le quattro stagioni» describe with instrumental devices the passage from spring to winter: bird trills, summer storms, autumn harvests and icy wind. The CD adds the concertos «La caccia» and «Per eco in lontano», with dialogues between two groups of violins.
1987 edition digitally remastered and released in the Silver Line Classics series; single CD with catalogue number 420 356-2.
For those who enjoy Baroque repertoire performed by chamber ensembles such as I Musici.
