«The Four Seasons» is the album by Antonio Vivaldi performed by Nigel Kennedy and the English Chamber Orchestra, released in 1989 on cassette.
The four concertos for violin and string orchestra that make up the work evoke each season of the year: from the birdsong in «Spring» to the storm of «Summer» or the ice of «Winter». Nigel Kennedy's performance brings virtuosity and expressive character to Vivaldi's baroque.
Digital recording on stereo cassette.
