«The Resistance» is the studio album by the British alternative rock band Muse, released by Warner Music International on CD in 2009.
The fifth work by the English band combines alternative rock with symphonic arrangements and electronics. Its lyrics speak of rebellion, control and love in times of crisis. «Uprising» and «Resistance» stand out, while the symphony «Exogenesis» closes the album in three movements.
For those looking for a large-scale rock record, with powerful anthems and a sonic ambition uncommon in the genre.
