«Twirligig» is the album by Jonti, released in 2011 on Stones Throw Records, on CD.
The album blends electronic and hip hop from an abstract, experimental perspective: Jonti builds songs with layers of production, rhythms and sonic textures that avoid conventional structures. The cover, a collage of color splashes with a black-and-white portrait, matches that same eclectic, handcrafted spirit.
CD edition of a digipak release, published by Stones Throw Records (ref. STH2272).
Recommended for listeners of electronic and hip hop seeking work far from commercial patterns.
