«Two Journeys» is the album by Tim O'Brien, released in 2002 on Sugar Hill on CD.
The album combines American roots folk with Celtic folk: bluegrass and country pieces sit alongside Irish airs in acoustic arrangements led by O'Brien's voice and string instruments. The title alludes to two musical journeys, the American and the Irish, which the repertoire traverses naturally.
Single CD. Associated styles: folk, bluegrass and Celtic, with vocals in English.
For listeners of acoustic folk and bluegrass who appreciate the crossovers between American roots music and the Irish tradition.
