«Used To Be Duke» is the album by Johnny Hodges And His Orchestra, released in 2009 by Verve Records on CD.
Saxophonist Johnny Hodges leads his orchestra in a swing jazz repertoire: the sax carries the melody with the support of an orchestral ensemble. This remastered reissue, part of the Verve Originals series, recovers the recordings originally released by Norgran Records.
This CD reissue was presented in a digipak case, consists of 1 disc and 38 minutes in length, and corresponds to a German edition.
For fans of classic jazz and big-band swing looking for remastered reissues on CD.
