«Viva Vaughan» is Sarah Vaughan's vocal jazz album, released in 2001 on CD.
The album combines Sarah Vaughan's elegant phrasing with Latin and Brazilian rhythms: bossa nova, swing and orchestral arrangements. Highlights include 'The Boy from Ipanema' and 'Quiet Nights', along with other jazz standards.
Single-disc CD edition; the cover reproduces the Mercury Records sleeve with a photo of Vaughan and a sunset landscape.
Aimed at fans of vocal jazz and Latin-influenced versions of great standards.
