«Zooropa» is the eighth studio album by Irish rock band U2, released in 1993 on Island Records, on CD.
Following the reinvention of Achtung Baby, U2 immerses itself in an electronic, industrial and dance sound to address technology, information overload and European unification. Songs like «Numb», «Lemon» and «Stay (Faraway, So Close!)» showcase that experimental drift.
Produced by Flood, Brian Eno and The Edge; single-disc album with catalogue number 74321 15371 2.
For listeners interested in U2's electronic and experimental side and in nineties rock.
