«50/50: Uma Breve Antologia Bilingue» is a bilingual poetry anthology prepared by Ana Luísa Amaral and Margaret Jull Costa, in paperback (160 pages).
It brings together 25 poems by English-language poets translated into Portuguese by Ana Luísa Amaral and another 25 poems by Portuguese-language poets translated into English by Margaret Jull Costa, hence the title 50/50. The volume thus presents a double bilingual anthology, with the two languages and the two poetic traditions coexisting in a single edition.
Published by Avesso in 2022. The cover is divided diagonally into two halves, white and black, with the number 50 replicated on each side.
For readers who enjoy poetry in bilingual editions and want to compare the Portuguese and English versions of each poem.
