«A mi no em veu ningú» is the illustrated children's story by Anna Vila Badia and Maria Teresa Cáceres Rodríguez, published by Destino Infantil & Juvenil CAT in paperback (40 pages, in Catalan).
The narrator recalls that as a child she was distressed by being shorter than her friends and that her grandmother told her it would resolve with age, a response that did not convince her. The cover illustration shows a girl and an adult figure with outstretched hands in a nocturnal setting, accompanying this tale about self-perception and waiting to grow.
The album belongs to the Apel·les Mestres Català collection and won the Premi Apel·les Mestres 2002, an award shared by the author and the illustrator.
Recommended for early readers and for sharing aloud, especially suitable for children aged 0 to 36 months according to the publisher's thematic classification.
