«Abuela, cuéntanos un cuento» is a children's picture book by Rocío Martínez, published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in hardcover (32 pages, in Spanish).
Clara and David visit their grandmother and, while playing, ask her to tell them a story. The grandmother takes out a book and reads them the story of two children who, from a tree house, listen to the tales their grandmother narrates. A story within a story about the pleasure of listening to stories and the affection between grandmothers and grandchildren.
It is number 2 in Anaya's Sopa de Cuentos collection, a series of stories designed for early readers.
Recommended for children aged 3 to 6, it also works as a read-aloud for the family.
