«Tejemaneje y Estropajo» is the children's story by Alfredo Gómez-Cerdá, published by Editorial Bruño in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
Miguel misses the coastal village where he was born, with a house so close to the sea that during storms the water reached the door and, if the windows were left open, squid, red mullet and sardines came in. Now he lives far away, but he has Pompeyo, a mischievous and playful goblin who is always up to some prank.
It is part of the Altamar collection, Spanish series for ages 8 and up, and has been used as a reading book in the 3rd grade of elementary school. Includes illustrations by Rocío Martínez.
Recommended for boys and girls aged 8 to 10, especially for readers who already read alone and for school use in the early grades of elementary school.
