«Aikido para tod@s» is the fiction work by Julián Hontangas Carrascosa, published by Punto Rojo Libros in paperback (190 pages, in Spanish).
It narrates a humorous fiction about the birth of aikido: in 16th-century Toledo, the knight Eliano Vieco de Osma creates a singular combat method that spreads through a secret circle of knights. The work combines an advice column in which masters respond to practitioners with a library of stories featuring characters as disparate as Don Quixote, martial arts enthusiasts, or students of the aikido founder, Morihei Ueshiba.
First edition published on July 2, 2013 in Spain.
Recommended for aikido practitioners and for those who prefer to approach martial arts through fiction and humor.
