«Anábasis» is the historical work by Xenophon, published by Ediciones Cátedra in paperback (376 pages, in Spanish).
The work narrates the expedition of Cyrus the Younger against his brother Artaxerxes II, recently proclaimed king of the Persian empire, in 401 BC. To dethrone him, Cyrus formed a great army with ten thousand Greek mercenaries; Xenophon reports on the customs and practices of the territories crossed with a didactic intent.
Edited by Carlos Varias, in the Letras Universales collection. Third edition, published in 2006.
A read for those interested in ancient history, classical literature, and accounts of military campaigns.
