«Año de nieves» is the poetry collection by José A. Ureba, published by Aliar 2015 Ediciones in paperback (68 pages, in Spanish).
The poems explore love in its physical and sensual aspect and in its more ideal and Platonic dimension, from shared relationship to heartbreak and solitude. There are mythological echoes (Achilles, Icarus, Orpheus and Eurydice), dreamlike passages and domestic scenes of bedroom and drawing room, connecting the universal with the everyday.
First edition of 2024, published in Granada.
Work for readers of contemporary poetry and current Spanish literature.
