«Antes do Futuro» is the young adult science fiction novel by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler, published by Editorial Presença in paperback (320 pages, in Portuguese).
In 1996, Josh installs a CD-ROM with a hundred free hours of internet on the computer of his neighbor and best friend Emma. When they log on, they access a strange page called Facebook where they can see what their lives will be like fifteen years later. The decisions they make in the present modify what they read about the future, so both must confront their actions to try to change their destiny.
The original English edition, The Future of Us, appeared in 2011, and this Portuguese version is from 2017.
For young adult and romance readers who want a science fiction story about how present decisions alter the future.
