«Asterix a Bretanya / In Britain» is the comic album by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo published by Grijalbo in hardcover (Asterix Bilingüe, no. 12).
The story takes place in Britain occupied by Julius Caesar, where a village of indomitable Britons keeps resisting. One of its warriors, a relative of Asterix, crosses the sea to ask the Gauls for help. Getafix prepares a barrel of magic potion, and Asterix and Obelix accompany him on the dangerous return journey to reinforce the resistance.
It is the eighth album in the Asterix series, originally published as «Astérix chez les Bretons» in 1965.
For fans of Asterix and of historical humour comics, and for those seeking a bilingual edition from the collection.

René Goscinny was a French comic editor and writer, who created the Asterix comic book series with illustrator Albert Uderzo. Born in France to a Jewish family from Poland, he spent his childhood in Argentina where he attended French schools and later lived in the United States for a short period of time. There he met Belgian cartoonist Morris. After his return to France, they collaborated for more than 20 years on the comic series Lucky Luke.
