«Avantguardista: Manifestos, cal·ligrames i altres poemes» is the poetry anthology by Joan Salvat-Papasseit, published by Alter Pirene in hardcover (94 pages, in Catalan).
The volume brings together manifestos, calligrams and poems by Joan Salvat-Papasseit, a Catalan poet who moved from avant-garde rupture to classicism, from the calligram to the song. A poetry marked by vitalism, nonconformism, a spirit of revolt and musicality, with anthology and preliminary study by Ferran Gadea i Gambús.
Number 4 of the «Joies de paper» collection; commemorative edition published in 1994 on the centenary of the birth of Joan Salvat-Papasseit (1894). Includes bibliographical references (pp. 39-40).
For readers of Catalan poetry and for those who want to approach the evolution of twentieth-century avant-gardes.
