«Bananus Maximus e os Egípcios» is Tim Collins's humorous children's novel, published by Booksmile in paperback (192 pages, in Portuguese).
Bananus Maximus, a young Roman who believes he is destined to be Rome's greatest hero, travels to Egypt on a diplomatic mission with Julius Caesar. The adventure gets complicated as he faces a capricious pharaoh, survives the desert, and avoids being mummified, while witnessing Caesar's antics over his love for Cleopatra.
This book is the second volume in the Dorkius Maximus series. Its original title is Diary of Dorkius Maximus in Egypt. The Portuguese edition was published by Booksmile in 2013.
Recommended for young readers who enjoy humorous stories, in the vein of Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
