«Beezus and Ramona» is the children's novel by Beverly Cleary, published by Scholastic in paperback (183 pages, in English).
Beezus Quimby tries to be patient with her little sister, Ramona, but it isn't easy: Ramona powders her nose with marshmallows and throws a party for her class without telling the family. Sometimes Beezus feels she doesn't love Ramona, though in the end she discovers that being sisters means loving each other always, even if not every minute.
It is the first installment of the Ramona Quimby series by Beverly Cleary. The work was originally published in 1955; this 2010 school edition is tied to the movie Ramona and Beezus.
For child and young readers, especially those starting to read chapter novels and who enjoy stories about sisters and everyday humor.
