«Berta aprende a bailar» is the children's story by Liane Schneider, published by Salamandra in hardcover (24 pages, in Spanish).
Berta signs up for classical dance classes and discovers how fun ballet is. With other children she practices at the barre, learns positions with French names and gains flexibility. The end-of-year show arrives and, despite her nerves, she dances for the first time in front of a real audience.
It belongs to the My Friend Berta collection; the original German title is «Conni tanzt».
Recommended for children aged 4 to 6 who are starting to read and are approaching the world of ballet.
