Berta se corta el pelo

Synopsis of Berta se corta el pelo

«Berta se corta el pelo» is a children's picture book by Liane Schneider, published by Salamandra Infantil y Juvenil in hardcover (32 pages, in Spanish).

Berta and Julia play at being hairdressers and the game ends with chewing gum tangled in Berta's hair. Her mother takes her to a real hair salon, and Berta gets nervous: she worries it will hurt, that her hair won't grow back, or that she won't be able to wear a bow. A relatable story about an everyday childhood mishap.

Part of the «Mi amiga Berta» collection; 2012 edition with translation by Teresa Clavel Lledó and illustrations by Annette Steinhauer.

For early readers aged 4 to 6, useful for accompanying the fear of a first visit to the hair salon.
