Bestiari by Pere Quart, with illustrations by Xavier Nogués, is a prominent work in contemporary Catalan literature. Published by Labutxaca, this book presents a satire of the world through an ingenious description of fauna, following the medieval tradition of the bestiary genre. In the words of the poet himself, nature provides us with a beast for every nuisance.
