«Billy» is the biography of comedian Billy Connolly written by Pamela Stephenson, published by HarperCollins in hardcover (304 pages, in English).
Pamela Stephenson, the comedian's wife, traces Billy Connolly's life from his poor childhood in the dockland areas of Glasgow to becoming an international star of comedy, film and television. The author combines the closeness of someone who knows him privately with an objective view of his shows, tours and career, to portray the man behind the public persona.
First edition published in October 2001 by HarperCollins Entertainment. Pamela Stephenson, Connolly's wife since 1989, writes this biography from her dual perspective as wife and clinical psychologist.
