American general Jack Kent visits Polly Slade, with whom he had a romance sixteen years earlier when he was stationed at a British air base against which she was protesting. Now Polly is being harassed by a stranger, and the reunion gives way to a night of suspense, black comedy and social critique.
For those seeking a thriller with black comedy within contemporary fiction, with a plot of reunion, harassment and tension.
