«Brüder» is the CD audiobook by Bart Moeyaert, published by Der Audio Verlag in German as children's listening.
Bart Moeyaert recalls his childhood as the youngest of seven brothers and portrays everyday life in a large family: games, complicity and small frictions between very different personalities. With short, poetic tales, the book shows the mix of admiration and distance the youngest feels towards his older brothers.
The original Dutch «Broere: de oudste, de stilste, de echtste, de verste, de liefste, de snelste en ik» was published in 2000; this CD version, in 2008.
Aimed at a children's and young adult audience, especially those seeking relatable stories about childhood and sibling relationships.
Bart Peter Boudewijn Moeyaert is a Belgian writer.
