«Calvin, vés amb compte!» is the children's picture book by Jennifer Berne, published by TAKATUKA in hardcover (40 pages, in Catalan).
Calvin, a starling and avid reader, discovers in the library that he sees poorly: he confuses words, mistakes a hen for a dinosaur, and trips over chairs. Glasses restore his clear vision, but make him the only one in his flock wearing them. Amid mockery, he ventures into the forest and ends up in a real mess from which he can only escape using his wits.
Illustrated by Keith Bendis and translated into Catalan by Roser Rimbau, it is the sequel to «En Calvin no sap volar». Recommended for readers aged 4 and up.
A story for early readers that humorously addresses wearing glasses and tired eyesight, as well as solidarity and peer mockery.
