«Carmeta es Carmeta» is the children's story by Carlos Miguel Álvarez de Eulate Alberdi, published by Editorial Bruño in paperback (80 pages, in Spanish).
Carmeta dresses up as her favorite toys, such as the superheroine Angelina, the detective, the pirate, the astronaut or the robot, to set off on imaginary adventures: the sofa becomes a pirate ship and the armchair a spaceship. When she returns from her expeditions, her parents are always waiting for her. One day her mother gives her a doll identical to her, and Carmeta discovers that being herself is also wonderful.
It belongs to the Lectura Eficaz collection, with its Reading Game (no. 178), and is part of the Altamar series.
Recommended for early readers aged 6 and up, with type and structure designed to begin autonomous reading.
