«Cartas marruecas (selección)» is a selection from the epistolary work by José Cadalso, in paperback (93 pages).
The letters exchanged by Gazel, Nuño and Ben-Beley allow Cadalso to trace an ironic portrait of eighteenth-century Spain. Politics, education, customs and morality pass through the filter of reflection and satire, in a work that sharply questions the social reality of its time.
1992 edition by Compañía Europea de Comunicación e Información, in the Biblioteca de El Sol collection; the original work dates from 1789.
For readers interested in eighteenth-century Spanish literature and Enlightenment satire.
